Classic Academy of Dance is owned by Principal Elizabeth Watts.

As well as 3 dance studios at their Willenhall based dance school, we also have our own dance wear shop, Jewels. We sell all uniform required at Classic Academy as well as dance shoes, dancewear and accessories.

Offering lessons in R.A.D. and I.D.T.A. Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Streetdance, Musical Theatre for children aged 3+. We also offer a Flexibility class, as well as specialist lessons in Pointe work and Contemporary.

We are also very proud to be an approved R.A.D. exam centre and offer R.A.D. lessons for all grades including vocational work.



All teachers are experienced and qualified with CRB checks, and can offer pupils the utmost in dance training and ensure that lessons are fun whilst ensuring excellent marks are achieved in exams. Our exam results are exemplary, and we manage to achieve fantastic results with both syllabi.

Our pupils regularly successfully audition for various local productions and we also have pupils that have been selected to attend the prestigious Elmhurst School for Dance, The Royal Ballet, Arts Ed, Performers College, The Urdang Academy and more- the flag of Classic Academy flies high!

In recent years we have also been selected to provide the juvenile dancers at the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton's annual pantomime. Our young dancers have performed alongside many stars including; Joe Pasquale, The Krankies, Lesley Joseph, Niki Evans.

This academic year sees the 10th Anniversary of Elizabeth Watts as Principal of Classic Academy of Dance. To celebrate the successes of Classic over the years, we have performances lined up at The Royal Albert Hall and Walt Disney World Florida during 2015.
